Limiting risk for legacy systems

Abstract:
Still running Windows XP? How about Windows Server 2003? AIX 7? Some version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux that was released when dinosaurs roamed the Earth? Many companies, especially in Operational Technology (OT) networks, still rely on legacy systems. These systems no longer get security updates and have well-known vulnerabilities. In an ideal world, these legacy systems would be replaced with current ones, but in the real world we need to find ways to mitigate the risks they post.
